9 Future Skills
As the world is constantly evolving and changing, we can neither predict how the future world will be for our children nor plan for it. What we can do is prepare them for it by developing the 9 Future Skills. No matter how the world changes, these future skills will equip our children to make the right choices that will lead towards a life of success and fulfillment.

"Everything is special at Kangaroo Kids!"
Children have been a part of my life since 1992 when I got my first job as a Primary Teacher, in Iskandar School. I have had the opportunity to work with children and professionals in the field of education; always learning something new to better myself as a teacher and providing helpful insights into the different needs of children.
Kangaroo kids is very different from most of the schools we see today. The curriculum is designed to cater for the needs of individual learners. It is based on latest theories, brain research, and best practices in education, which ensures learning is fun. Students are given the opportunity to be engaged in their learning through various activities. They are given the opportunity to display their talent, creativity and develop their self-confidence. For me, the most exciting part of the curriculum is the special days we celebrate at the end of each theme.
I love to see the look on their little faces when they learn something new. Watching them work together and accomplish goals set for them is the most amazing feeling in the world. Knowing that I played an intricate part in that, gives me great pleasure!

15 Habits of Mind
We have picked 15 Habits of Minds that are developmentally appropriate because we believe that children as young as 2 years old need to be exposed to them with deliberate practices and focused attention so that they can grow as thinkers and navigate and thrive in the face of unprecedented change.
Adapted from Arthur Costa’s work Developing Minds.
